Nest? The product has been our for quite some time now, and has already went through a revision. It’s also not made by Apple, but rather, ex Apple employees.

I came here to say the same thing as Sewell. I currently own a nest thermostat. It’s great but is not made by apple. It was created by a former apple employee. I also don’t think it detects and controls light. It can be controlled remotely via wifi, so through mobile apps or computer etc. It is also not exactly controlled by a single button. The interface is controlled through turning a ring, pushing the device like a button and more in depth through web applications.

Hi, yes it true that it is created by two former employees of Apple, we have edited the article. We still listed it as new gadgets as it is officially only available in the US and Canada and our sources mention that it will be available outside the US too soon, which make this a gadget to expect for people outside the US and Canada.
